Raya and the Last Dragon 🐉 is a 2021 American computer-animated action film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studios, written by Qui Nguyen, American-Vietnamese,

and Adele Lim, American-Malaysian.

Voice Cast:
Kelly Marie Tran as Raya, American-Vietnamese
Izaac Wang as Boun, American-Laotian.

Animation:
The film is set in a fantasy land called Kumandra, inspired by Southeast Asian cultures.

Thai artist Fawn Veerasunthorn served as the head of the story for the film.

The filmmakers formed the Southeast Asia Story Trust, a collective of cultural consultants for the film which included Dr. Steve Arounsack, an associate professor of Lao Anthropology at California State University, Stanislaus.

Music:
The release of Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon, and to celebrate the first-ever Walt Disney Animation Studios film that is inspired by the diverse cultures of Southeast Asia,

4 illustrious music artists namely Raisa from Indonesia, Matthaios from the Philippines, SPRITE from Thailand,

and Yonnyboii from Malaysia has joined forces on a striking musical collaboration, titled “Trust Again”.
