The Highest Diadem Set consists of The Diadem (The little Queen Crown), The Ears Cover, and The Ponytail Hair Tie Cover. The Highest Diadem or The Rat Klao Yod (Thai: รัดเกล้ายอด) is the Female's head ornaments for the Traditional Dance Drama only, in the Khon performance worn by The Princess and the Consort of the King, in the Lakhon (Dance Drama) worn by The Queen, The Princess, and the Consort of the King.
The Highest Diadem from the collection of Chao Phraya Mahindrasakdi Dhamrong is usually made of precious metal, diamonds, and gemstones. In 1896, Chao Chom Manda Morakot(His daughter), the Noble Consort of King Rama V, donated to The Royal Museum in The Grand Palace. Currently, This Highest Diadem Department has been preserved at the National Museum Bangkok.
