Luntaya Acheik (လွန်းတစ်ရာ), meaning ‘one hundred shuttles tapestry weave’ are intricate textile pieces endowed with beautiful colors and patterns of interesting meanings, created by using interlocking tapestry weaving techniques - a process that takes significantly longer to weave than other weaving methods.
The results were highly-valued items, favored by the Burmese Royal Court since dynastic time.
