♦ The Thai Phuan in Ban Had Siew, Sukhothai province is a group of Thai Phuan who have lived in Amphoe Si Satchanalai for about 150 years.

Thai Phuan at Sisatchanalai District, Sukhothai Province isone of the ethnic groups in Thailand who lead their liveswith their own identity from the past till present in manyways such as ordination of the elephants, Kamfa ritual,Nang Kwak performance, mini Kratin as well as theculture which keeps their ethnic identity as follows:grooming, ways of life, local wisdoms etc. which areworth studying and preserved for the cultural existence.

♦ The Phuan people (พวน), ພວນ Phouan, /pʰúːən/), also known as Tai Phuan, Thai Puan (Thai: ไทพวน) or Lao Phuan, are a Theravada Buddhist Tai people spread out in small pockets over most of Thailand's Isan region with other groups scattered throughout central Thailand and Laos (Xiangkhouang Province and parts of Houaphan).
