Thailand is comprised of many different groups and ethnicities. Many ethnic groups living in Thailand have their own languages, traditions, and cultures.
There are about 70 ethnic groups in Thailand. The biggest is the one of the Thai people.
Some minor groups are categorized as hill tribes (chao kao in Thai), especially in the northern provinces; the biggest ones are Hmong and Karen.
