โดยใช้เครื่องประดับที่เป็นลูกปัดแก้ว หินอาเกต มีสีสันต่างๆสวยงาม และเป็นสินค้าสำคัญในยุคนั้น

✦ การแต่งกายของผู้ชาย จากหลักฐานที่ชาวจีนสมัยโบราณบันทึกไว้ถึงชาวทวารวดีกล่าวว่า พระมหากษัตริย์ออกว่าราชการจะทรงอาภรณ์สีเมฆ ยามเช้าจะทรงศิราภรณ์ทองคำ เครื่องใช้ก็เป็นทองคำล้วน ผ้าทรงลายลูกไม้คล้องคอ ต่างหูทองคำ ศิราภรณ์เป็นทองคำประดับมุกและอัญมณีต่างๆ นุ่งผ้าคล้ายชาวอินเดีย คือนุ่งโจงกระเบนยาวเลยเข่าไป มีเครื่องประดับที่คอและเครื่องแขนที่ประดับมุกและอัญมณี คาดเข็มขัด เกล้าผมเป็นมวยสูงๆ

✦ การแต่งกายของผู้หญิง นิยมใช้ผ้าคล้องคอ ไหล่ แต่จะพาดไปทางไหนไม่มีกำหนดกฎเกณฑ์อะไรตายตัว บางคนก็นำมาคาดไว้ที่อกแบบผ้าแถบ นุ่งผ้ายาวกรอมเท้า พับเป็นทบเล็กน้อย มีชายพกด้านหน้า เกล้าผมสูง ต่างหูแบนๆกลมๆทำจากโลหะหรือทองคำดุนเป็นลวดลายต่างๆ หรือบางครั้งทำเป็นรูปอื่นๆ เช่นหยดน้ำ ดอกไม้ ดอกบัวตูม เป็นต้น
