The style of dress that appears in the Northeast of Thailand, Laos, and Lan Xang is similar to the costumes of the Sukhothai period overlapping pleated fabric.

 

✦ The Muag kab is a hat that is used in rituals in Northeast Thailand. Muag Kab: It is a triangular-shaped hat embroidered with threads, silk threads, and gold work. It can be found in the Naga ordination ceremony, the Hodrong ceremony (Thera Phisek), and the ritual of asking for the rain of the Isan people in Bun Bang Fai (Rocket festival).
