♦️Suphanna Matcha (Suvannamaccha), Hanuman, and Muchanu (Thai: นางสุพรรณมัจฉา, หนุมาน, และมัจฉานุ)

The character in the Ramakien literature (Thai: รามเกียรติ์), the Thai version, which was influenced by Ramayana from India.

♦️สุพรรณมัจฉา: In the Thai version, Suphanna Matcha is the daughter of Ravana and a fish. She has the upper body of a human and the lower body of a lady fish, and she lives in the ocean near Longka City.

♦️Suphanna Matcha appears in the literature when Rama orders Hanuman to lead the monkey soldiers to fill the ocean with rocks to make a road to Lanka. When Ravana learns that Rama ordered Hanuman to build the road, Ravana orders Suphanna Matcha to take all the fish and aquatic animals to destroy Hanuman's road construction. This is the reason why Hanuman meets Suphanna Matcha for the first time, and Hanuman gets Suvannamaccha as another wife.

♦️In the Thai version of the Ramayana literature, it is stated that Suvannamaccha is very beautiful and has skin as radiant as gold.

♦️มัจฉานุ: Macha Nu or Mucha Nu is a mixed creature with the body of a monkey but with a scaly fishtail. He is one of the heroes in the epic tale of Ramayana. He's the son of the great monkey, Hanuman, and a giant's daughter, Suphanna Matcha. Although his mother is the daughter of the main villain giant, Tossakan, she has the upper body of a beautiful woman and the lower body of a fish like a mermaid.

♦️The name "Macha Nu or Mucha Nu" derived from part of his mother's name, "Suphanna Matcha" which means fish, and "Hanuman", his father's name.
