THAILAND 🇹🇭 | Nyah Kur ethnic

𝐍𝐲𝐚𝐡 𝐊𝐮𝐫 (ญัฮกุร) that is believed to be the direct descendants of the Dvaravati, a kingdom that flourished from the 6th to the late 11th century in what is now Thailand.

They are an ethnic group native to Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, northeastern Thailand, and Phetchabun province in lower northern Thailand. Nyah Kur ethnic group is closely related to Mon people. There is also an isolated ethnic group named Nyah Kur that is believed to be the direct descendants of the Dvaravati Mons, retaining their language and writing system.
