Kinnari or Kinnaree (กินรี) is one of Himmapan (Himavanta) mythical creatures in Thai culture influenced from India. Thai Kinnari is depicted as half-bird half-woman who has head, torso, and arms of a woman and the wings, tail, and feet of a bird enabling her to fly between the human and the mystical worlds.
