Joe Chonlawit and Thai Sak Yant Costume 🇹🇭

This is the creative costume presented by Joe Chonlawit, a contestant of Mister Supranational Thailand 2024 for his participation in 'Thai Extravaganza: Thai Soft Power Challenge Presented by CHAT Cosmetics' round as a part of Miss and Mister Supranational Thailand 2024 competition on 3rd May.

The costume is inspired by sacred Sak Yant Thai traditional tattoos which has now become another soft power of Thailand to the world.

Joe Chonlawit together with his Sak Yant costume has also won 'Supra Factor' in this competition.

Thai Sak Yant and Yantras have a strong influence on the neighboring country, Cambodia. Recently, Cambodians have adopted and copied the style of Thai Sak Yant tattoos, especially after the famous Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie came to Thailand to get a Sak Yant tattoo from Ajarn Noo Kanpai.
