Thao Wessuwan or Vaiśravaṇa (वैश्रवण: Sanskrit), AKA Thao Kuwen or Kubera (कुबेर: Sanskrit), is the leader of all ghosts and demons and is one of Thao Chatulokban who protects the earth in the northern direction.

Sak Yant Thao Wessuwan is believed to enhance wealth and power and also protects the bearer from evil spirits and ghosts.

Thai Sak Yant and Yantras have a strong influence on the neighboring country, Cambodia. Recently, Cambodians have adopted and copied the style of Thai Sak Yant tattoos, especially after the famous Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie came to Thailand to get a Sak Yant tattoo from Ajarn Noo Kanpai.
