Traditional costumes of southern Thailand compose of 3 different styles depends on ethnicity and religion of southern people.

1. BUDDHIST SOUTHERN THAIS dress similarly to the central Thais with Sihn skirt for women, Pha Khao Ma for men, and Chong Kraben for both women and men.

2. MUSLIM SOUTHERN THAIS dress similarly to the Muslim Melayu people in Malaysia and Indonesia with muslin or lace fabrics and Batik skirt for women and Songket or Sarong for men.

3. BABA-NYONYA SOUTHERN THAIS dress similarly to the Peranakan (mixed Chinese-Melayu) people in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia with lace blouse and Batik for women and traditional Chinese dress for men.
