THAILAND 🇹🇭 | ฟ้อนโก๋ยมือ - Fon Koi Mue: Isan Dance

"Fon Koi Mue" refers to a unique traditional folk dance by the Phutai ethnic group from Sakon Nakhon province, in the Isan or Northeastern region of Thailand.
Every year, the Bun Phawet festival—also known as the Thet Maha Chat (Great Birth Sermon) or the "Fourth Month Festival"—takes place. The event features a procession welcoming Prince Vessantara into the city, accompanied by a dance troupe wearing distinctive finger ornaments adorned with colorful threads, known as "Koi Mue".
