This is the provincial costume of Miss Universe Chanthaburi for her participation in Miss Universe Thailand 2024 National Costume Competition on July 12th.

This Thai apsara costume is inspired by the legend of Queen Kawai (พระนางกาไว) of Phaniat City (เมืองเพนียด) which is the ancient city with Khom culture in the area of Chanthaburi province.
.
Apsara is the symbol of Thailand and Thai-Style apsara is very popular in Cambodia. The Cambodians usually copy Thai apsara and abandon their own Princess Buppha Devi's version.
