Tai Lue lives in the Golden Triangle area that stretches over many countries from Xishuangbanna(สิบสองปันนา) in China to Thailand, Vietnam, and northern Laos. they brought with them their unique style of fabric-woven techniques, mostly performed with cotton threads. Their best known particular weaving style is called ‘Lai Ko’ or ‘Lai Nam Lai’ that includes the process of drawing out and twisting the threads into various patterns.
