ฟ้อนภ​ไทสามเผ่า​ วิทยาลัย​นาฏศิลป​ร้อยเอ็ด จะเริ่มจากฟ้อนภูไทกาฬสินธุ์​ ภูไทสกลนคร และภูไทเรณูนคร ในการฟ้อนผู้ไทสามเผ่านี้จะเพิ่มผู้ชายฟ้อนประกอบทั้งสามเผ่า มีการโชว์ลีลาของรำมวยโบราณ ต่อสู้ระหว่างเผ่า​ และการเกี้ยวพาราสีกันระหว่างชายหญิง.

 

🔸 Phu Thai Ethnic Group in northeastern Thailand. Fon Phutai Sam Phao is a show of Phu Tai people in Kalasin, Sakon Nakhon, and Nakhon Phanom.

✦ "Fon Phu Tai Sam Phao" to bring up the cultural heritage of Phu Tai people, who lived in the Phu Phan mountains area (เทือกเขาภูพาน). The three provinces Kalasin, Sakon Nakhon, and Nakhon Phanom are compared in terms of the dramatic performances. Because all three Phu Tai people groups have different forms and identity are different.

✦ In 1979 (พ.ศ.2522), the Fine Arts Department (กรมศิลปากร) had a policy that would spread Northeast culture. Then send the faculty and students of Roi Et College of Dramatic Arts to explore the area in Kalasin, Sakon Nakhon, and Nakhon Phanom, by collecting dance postures, Lam (ลำ) or verse, music, and costumes.
Until a final " Fong Phu Tai Sam Phao " for the first time which have a teacher Dr.Chaweewan Damnoen (ดร.ฉวีวรรณ ดำเนิน (พันธุ)) National Artist the Northeast Folk Performind Arts, is the inventor of the dance postures.

✦ "Fon Phu Tai Sam Phao" starts from the 1st Phu Tai people of Kalasin.
2nd is the Phu Tai people of Sakon Nakhon, and the last is the Phu Tai people of Nakhon Phanom.

Male Performance Scene: The performance style combines the ancient art of boxing for male and female courtship dances, and conveys the ancient boxing fighting style between provinces.

🔸 PS. The clothing of Phu Tai Kalasin originally used red Praewa silk and later changed to yellow for the perspective of the color on stage.
