👑 Tai Phuan ethnic in Ban Fai Mun,Tha Wangpha District, Nan Province, Northern Thailand. Ban Fai Mun is home to the ethnic Tai Phuan people who migrated to the area in 1834 from neighbouring Laos during the reign of King Rama III.

They settled predominantly in the areas known today as Nan and Phrae provinces.

♦ The Phuan people (พวน), ພວນ Phouan, /pʰúːən/), also known as Tai Phuan, Thai Puan (Thai: ไทพวน) or Lao Phuan, is a Theravada Buddhist Tai people spread out in small pockets over most of Thailand's Isan (northeastern) region and northern region with other groups scattered throughout central Thailand and Laos (Xiangkhouang Province and parts of Houaphan).
